Below are some websites of pipe makers and pipe suppliers I’m interested in. As time goes on, my hope is to provide with a review of each site added.
Pipe Makers:
- Catini Pipes
- MacQueen Pipes
- Kurt A. Huhn
- Peterson of Dublin -
- Rinaldo Pipes – I own one Rinaldo and I can’t say anything bad about this pipe. It’s light, easy to smoke, and is beautiful!
- J.M Boswell Pipes
- Mark Tinsky
- Tim West/J.H. Lowe
- Downie Pipes
- Elie’s Freehand Pipes
- Larry Roush Pipes
- Papa Duke – Not a Pipe carver, but he makes some outstanding pipe tampers.
Pipe Making Supplies:
Retailers:
- Iwan Ries
- Just For Him
- VegasSmokes.Com
- AltinokPipe.Com
- The Tobacco Barn – In January 2007, I purchased some simple accessories for my display case. I have to say, these are awesome quality and the whole transaction was smooth. Packaging was superb, even for some plastic pipe stands. Impressed so far.
- MeerschaumPipes.com – This site seems to be affiliated with The Tobacco Barn.
- L. J. Peretti - From a comment on a blog entry, I figured it only fair to add this here. They have quite a collection of pipes to choose from, plus they’ve been in the business for a very long time. Hopefully, I have some experience shopping with these fine folk in the future.
- Briar Patch
- Payless Pipes
- Cupojoes
- Smokingpipes.com
- Dead Man’s Pipes – Under new management and open for business!.
- Frenchy’s Pipes
- Edward’s Pipe Shop – Local shop to my home, Atlanta, GA.

Thanks for the mention in your retailers of interest page Bon Vivant!
If you have any questions about our line of meerschaum pipes, any of our other products, please feel free to drop me an email or use the contact us page on the website.

Give some thought to the pipes of American pipemakers such as J.M. Boswell, Tim West and Mark Tinsky, as starters. Great briar, great shapes, and affordable pricing.
How about that big pipe shop in Madison, GA? Have you been there?
Hey Todd,
I will work on some blog entries for these pipe makers. I just don’t have any personal experience with their work. What I’ve seen, I definitely have a desire to own a few. I’ve heard nothing but good things about these carvers and their work.
I didn’t know there was a shop in Madison. By chance have a web link, or an address to them?
Happy puffing,
BBVV
The website Dead Man’s Pipes has unfortunately closed. Not only was it a well thought-out and designed site, it had some fine, affordable pipes. As his site reads, R.I.P.
Thanks for the update, Dave. I’ve been meaning to get in here and update these links.
Regards,
BBVV
